The 2019 Thunder Run is a Poker Run that takes place on beautiful Lake Cumberland. This years event will be hosted by Lake Cumberland State Dock (located inside the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, Jamestown) on June 14 & 15. Great entertainment on Friday and Saturday as well as fantastic prizes including a FREE Houseboat Rental from State Dock and many more! $5000 CASH PRIZES FOR 1ST-3RD BEST HANDS, AND MORE!!!

We will do our best to accommodate everyone but cannot guarantee everyone a actual slip, whether that slip will be covered or not and whether the slip will have power or not. Whether in a actual slip or not you will have a place to park your boat via tie up on a walkway or raft up. You must be registered to reserve lodging/ boatel at State Dock. Lodging and reservation details are on the registration form.
$250.00 to register – Captain, Boat & Navigator. There is a $60 charge for each additional crew member. Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, T-Shirt.

11:00 am- 6:00 pm: Fun run/ lunch run/ bonus chip stop. Participants may choose to eat lunch at State Dock or Wolf Creek before departing to the bonus chip stop at 76 Falls **BONUS CHIP BOAT WILL BE MARKED WITH A RED CLOUD BUSTER BALLOON AND WILL BE IN PLACE FROM 12:00 PM UNTIL 4:00 PM** Pick up your chip and hang out at the falls!! (Friday lunch is not included in your registration)

For boating in Kentucky, the biggest event at Lake Cumberland is the Lake Cumberland Poker Run. Friday, September 6th kicks off a weekend of fun, music and fast boats. It has become one of the nation’s most popular speedboat attractions. Most of the action occurs on Friday and Saturday, but the speedboats typically end up staying through Sunday to enjoy the Lake Cumberland area attractions. And, for Kentucky lakes it has the best straight-shot boating opportunities.
The Lake Cumberland Poker Run’s home base is State Dock Marina, known as the houseboat capital of the world. One dock becomes “Houseboat Row” for Poker Run participants with an adjacent dock showcasing their 125 speedboats.
